How to setup a single login to 572 and 8572 TroopTrack
To support our linked troops 572 and 8572, we will be trying two different TroopTrack setups. We are choosing this approach in order to simplify communication and calendar. This guide explains how this multi-account setup works.
Our linked troops have these two TroopTrack setups:
https://572-2.trooptrack.com/
htps://8572-5.trooptrack.com/
- Each TroopTrack setup will have a different login name to start with. For example, 572 will be FirstLastName and 8572 will be FirstLastName1.
- When you get setup on the second TroopTrack, you'll get an email to setup your password on the account. This will come through email.
- Login with your new account, it will likely be FirstLastName1. Suggestion: use the same password you use for your other account.
- You will now have two logins to TT that will get you into the two different troop setups. They are not linked yet.
- Caution: This next step will matter on which account becomes your primary login name for both TroopTrack setups.
- Logout and login to the account you prefer to use to login
- Merge your account with your second account by clicking on Your Name at the top of TroopTrack and choosing "Merge another TroopTrack account with this one"
Enter your user name and password for the second account by filling out the form.
- Now you will be able to login with you login from step 6 and then switch between the two TroopTrack setups by using the menu.
Further Note of Caution
If you don't like the user name that is now your primary account, don't try to change it. You will be locked out from both TroopTrack setups and need to contact the help desk to get it fixed. Trust us.
